So I am plotting away at a new book idea. I’ve detailed twenty chapters so far. I already have the ending planned out, but I need to figure out the middle-ish part. I want this book to feel familiar for the genre but also be very unique in its own way. Finding that balance with my ‘perfectionist’ mentality is hard. It is going to be a long week. Lorraine (my best friend / co-worker), is out this week on vacation. Of course, I am happy for her, and hope she gets some nice weather … but it’ll be quite boring without her.
